Hi Tekkan,
I think you'll like our alliance, Unitary Enterprises. We're a mature and stable mining/industrial alliance who's been around for a while now. At the moment we're heavily expanding in 0.0 and conduct large scale industrial operations. We've got a large network of POS's, multiple (industrial) capital ships and trade extensively between empire and deepspace. We also got a lowsec base. We're not building titans (yet :P) but besides that I'm pretty sure you can do whatever you want if you're a member our alliance.
You've mentioned several things you're looking for, I'll touch on these points one by one:
- an active rather Industrial / Mining alliance consisting of mature people with manners rather than ego issues
Our alliance hasn't got hundreds of members, but on average we got 20-30 people online between 6am - 23:00 EVE Time. Our members are mostly West-european but we got a strong Australian base and some US members as well. The average age of players within the alliance is 21+ and we look out for eachother's well being.
- preferrably 0.0 sovereigned space (if possible)
Hate to disappoint you on this one, but we do have access to a very secure 0.0 region, Wicked Creek. We're renters in that region and all the residents there are blue to us. Also we can offer a safe environment where you can even solo mine high end ore (though of course mining with a bit of protection is best and we can offer that too).
- good entertaining gameplay rather than letting the game become a job
Convo's in alliance chat usually make me LOL every few minutes, while we're still getting an awful lot of work done and have fun doing PvP and missions. We all got real life jobs so we got no intention of making our virtual lifes a chore either. Eve is our outlet :D.
- a TS or Ventrilo Server
We got a Ventrillo server.
to contribute and to get the best out of the game
We are planning to become a major force within the game. As we like to say: PvP'ers don't build empires, industrialists do. We got both industrial minded people and PvP'ers and ambitions, the sky's the limit really. At the moment we're mostly focusing on building and equipping a large (cap) fleet and training our pilots. You can easily become part of this endeavor.
- a bunch of people to discuss game related issues and to do business with.
A large part of our trading is in-alliance. We give eachother discounts and at the same time the assurance there's always someone you can sell your stuff to or buy stuff from you need. On our alliance forums we have lots of serious discussions and ocassionally we can get serious in alliance chat too :).
- preferrably though not necessarily a European timezone based Alliance
Most of our members are from Western Europe as previously stated.
- An alliance that has a life expectancy of around a month and yet claims to be my best choice (...I seen lots )
We're a relatively young alliance (about 6 months or so) but we are here to stay. So far it's been a blast!
- being involved into the Alliance related decision making process (I am not interested in making decisions or anything related. I walk with the herd.... period)
No problem ;).
- Hotheaded people that risk others assets and pods because they see certain things far too personal far too early (a.k.a. incompetence/immaturity).
A lot of our members are responsible people with jobs and/or children. We avoid risks usually, as industrialists/traders that's also a bit part of our nature.
- A loose Alliance that doesn't care about its members problems.
Among other things we got an extensive reimbursement policy. Also we make sure everyone involved is happy and content with what they do.
